Join the Power Collective!! A Circle for Women
It’s FINALLY happening! After a few years of virtual coaching at a wonderful Integrative Health Clinic and working mostly online I find myself craving “in real life” community. I wonder if you feel the same. If your answer is yes consider joining! We begin on Summer Solstice and meet two Wednesdays a month until Autumn Equinox. It is possible a second group might form on Fridays. This circle is for any woman looking to connect around living a healthy life/ in all the many ways!! There are still a few spots available (we will intentionally keep the group small). The purpose of the Power Collective is to create a safe container for authentic conversation, education on seasonally aligned herbal medicine, health coaching & community with Dreamkeeper Botanicals at the Sunset Healing Collective in New Paltz. If this feels like something you are craving too, REACH OUT !! Registration is open for only one more week.
Remember to Breathe
Today I am savoring the fresh air. These past few days in the Hudson Valley shook us up, as smoke filled our landscape from the fires in Quebec. As we send our love and compassion to those still waiting for the fires to cease and the air to clear let’s lean into our breath and the power of rose medicine. I recently committed to weekly yoga again and this morning my teacher had us do chest openers and tap our chest and back. It felt so good to bring energy into my lungs, and to do so in community. Do you ever forget to breathe? It is the most simple thing in the world, we are born knowing how to do it, and somewhere along the line we may learn to constrict ourselves to shallow breathing. Each time we pause and focus on our breath we switch from thinking mode to feeling mode. Lately I have been breathing with the roses and it has been AMAZING. Their vibrant energy pulls me out of my head and back into my body. Breath work is at the root of my meditation practice and I find I’m so much more successful when I sit with plants. Here’s a teeny video to guide you through my, very basic, method with some thoughts on what rose can teach us.
