Whispering leaves spiral from gnarled branches as the late October chill tickles our cheeks. The feeling that we can sense more than we see sends tingles up our spines. It’s Samhain, known as Halloween to many, and the Day of the Dead approaches. So many cultures celebrate the days in late October into early November as an important time for honoring our ancestors and embracing magic. Wishing you peace, connection and mystical moments in the coming days! I have a warming recipe for you to whip up, below, and an event to share. I also have opportunities to meet individually if you are craving some one on one support. Follow us on Instagram for events, recipes, wellness rituals and some fun upcoming giveaways.

Golden Milk Recipe
Warm up 8 ounces of milk, of your choice, in a saucepan at low heat. My current favorite is canned coconut milk, there are no additives and it is a great source of healthy fat. Whisk in the following ingredients until it is frothy, warm and well blended:
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp reishi mushroom powder
¼ tsp ginger
¼ tsp cinnamon
A dash of nutmeg
1 tsp coconut oil or ghee (optional)
1 tsp honey (optional)
Wrap your hands around this mug of deliciousness and prepare to feel thoroughly warmed and nourished. Light a candle and feel into the coziness of the coming season!
